DMRF’s 2019 Frank and Debbi Sobey Lectureship
On Thursday, October 24th 2019 from 7:00-8:30PM, Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation hosted the Frank and Debbi Sobey Lectureship. Presenting Dr. Karol Axcrona, a distinguished Urologist from Norway who has performed over 800 robotic assisted radical prostatectomies and published over 56 peer-reviewed articles that have made a significant impact in the international field of prostate cancer care and survivorship issues.
This free public talk presented diverse cutting-edge approaches to research ideas regarding prostate cancer survivorship and new ways to look at current prostate cancer assessment, treatment and survivorship challenges.

THE 2nd ANNUAL PROSTATE CANCER INTEGRATED CARE CONFERENCE
Hosted on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25th 2019 at the University Club, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
PURPOSE:
- Garner support and feedback from multiple stakeholders in developing an integrated prostate cancer care program (improve patient care!).
- Provide an update of the pilot project of Dr. Ilie’s online survey and the RedCap system (knowledge translation
